NHK教育テレビの「バンバンジャパーン」番組で2020年オリンピック向かって日本の伝統を守っている人を紹介してます。１月２６日（土）22：00-22：45の番組で我が亀清旅館とこの青い目の宿主が映る予定です。戸倉上山田温泉を案内するずくだしエコツアーとか、この昔ながらの温泉宿の跡継ぎや、街のイベントの貢献など紹介されるそうです。
ディレクターのKさんは鹿教湯温泉のマウンテンバイクから雪の戸隠れ流の忍術まで、頑張って密着してくれました。これだけ探ったディレクターは初めてです。大変お疲れ様でした。どういう作品ができるか、楽しみにしてます。皆様も、日本の最先端のインバウンド活動をぜひ、見てください。
NHK Educational TV's "Ban-Ban Japan" program features stories on people promoting areas of Japan's traditional culture, in advance of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. On the edition to air Saturday 26-Jan from 10:00 to 10:45 pm, the show will be about Kamesei Ryokan and this blue-eyed innkeeper. It will apparently include our Zukudashi Eco Tours bike tour as well as my work here at our traditional onsen inn and my efforts with the Onsen Town Togura-Kamiyamada community.
The director, K-san, has been one of the hardest working I've ever seen. From running while shooting a mountain bike outing, to braving the snow at Togakushi for a ninja meet, K-san put in extra effort for this camera shoot. I can't wait to see the fruits of his labor. And I hope everyone tunes in to watch this production of the latest in our efforts to promote inbound tourism here at Kamesei Ryokan.
Once again provoking the local government. Ideas for concrete steps the regional government could take to promote / improve the area's inbound tourism.

良いんですけど、10年前にまさにそう言う集まりがあって、自分が積極的
自分はあれから、小さい一歩一歩進んで来た。我が宿、こ
お金がかからない提案も、私が代表理事であるＮＰＯ法人NINJAプロジェクトが貢献できそうな提案も、さまざま出しました。記録に残したいのでここでします。
フルーツ狩りができる施設を整理する。2年前から長野地方事務所が「フルーツ狩りをインバウンドに」と言っていた。確かに、ニーズがあります。しかし、ロゴが変わった以外何かアクシオンがあったか？（上記写真参照） アクセス、予約・飛込対応、表記、多言語対応、景色、無農薬などを調査し、出来たら農家さんたちも慣れるためにモニターツアーの実施など。
ポッドキャストで音声の街歩きツアー。段々と主流になってきてますが、3年前にこの戸倉上山田温泉のバージョンを作りました。長野駅から善光寺さんまでの散策ポイントとか、須坂の蔵町の歴史や、小布施の中心街の見所など、色んなバージョンが作れそう。
免税店やJNTO登録案内所を増やす運動。日本ショッピングツーリズム協会の新津さんを呼んでセミナーを開くとか、JNTOに頼んで説明会を開くとか。「日本一件数が多い」を目指そう！
お勧めのコースの充実。私どもNPO法人NINJAプロジェクトは既に事例を作ってますが、テーマ毎や地域を増やす。
ベジタリアン。対応の店を調べて海外最大ベジタリアンHPに登録を。（グルーテンフリーも！）
いれずみOKの温泉宿・立ち寄り湯を調査してネットで発信する。
広域サイクリング。千曲市は千曲川自転車道の活動を始まりましたので、その拡大。
交通に関して、オール長野のフリーパスや、県内の線路・駅の文字・数字表記。（例：しなの鉄道が「S」で、軽井沢駅がS1,長野駅がS23)。フリーパスは部分的にありますが、全県のはないので、日光や箱根に負けてます。
キャッシュレス化でhttps://nippon-pay.com/ のようなところと連携を取る。
などなど。まあ、フリーパスはハードルがかなり高いけどその他は割と簡単だと思われます。会議の為の会議ではなく、どれかを選んで今年の目標に。来年はその次とか。一歩一歩を進む。それぞれは話題性もあるし、自己満足で終わらずにちゃんと長野県を選ばれやすくなります。

美ヶ原は名前通りと言っちゃまずいかな？でも本当に大好きです。クネクネの道を登ぼり切ったら、その絶景の広い野原が気持ちいい！
うちに泊まるお客さんでベーナスラインや美ヶ原をツーリングしてくる方は少なくはない。皆、語りながら目がキラキラしてる。
先日は我が家族でファミリータイムを取れて、久しぶりに登りました。
プチトレキングも出来、レンゲツツジを見れて(6月後半)、2000mの空気を吸えて、パーフェクトでした。360度のパノラマで、南は蓼科山や八ヶ岳、西は穂高岳、北は白馬連峰、東は浅間山。
もっと時間があったら、高原美術館や美しの塔へのトレッキングしたかったけど、また今度。
帰りは武石へ降りる途中の白樺林がまた幻想的。
美ヶ原のアクセスは松本からバスがありますが、ビーナスラインをドライブで楽しむのがお勧めです。
亀清旅館・戸倉上山田温泉から上田市武石地区経由でで約50km, 車で75分。
The 2000-meter Utsukushi ga Hara plateau makes for a beautiful (that’s what ‘Utsukushii’ means — ‘beautiful’) high-altitude escape. The wide open fields are home to a heard of cows and in late June are punctuated with wild azaleas.
The 360-degree panorama vista looks out to the Yatsugatake Range to the south, the Hotaka Range of the Northern Alps to the west, the Hakuba peaks to the north, and Mt. Asama to the east.
Our recent visit was too brief to be able to enjoy the Open Air Museum’s inspirational artwork, nor the trek to the stone bell tower. But we’ll be back.
Utsukushigahara can be reached from Matsumoto by bus, but the windy ascent and scenic Venus Line highway are paradise for drivers.

蛍トンネル！
上田市丸子地区の噂の「ホタルの里・狐塚」に行ってみました。沢を渡る橋に立てば、蛍が下の川にも上の木にも飛んでます。幻の風景。天然ゲンジボタル。
2018年の祭りは24日で終わりましたが、ホタルはしばらく続きそうです。

Firefly Tunnel!
Ueda City’s Maruko district has a legendary firefly spot called ‘Kitsunezuka’ (fox memorial). If you stand on the bridge, the fireflies dance below around the gurgling creek as well as overhead in the tree canopy. It feels like a magical firefly tunnel.
The official Hotaru (Firefly) Festival ended on the 24th, but they will still be around a few more days.

ちなみに、上田市のもう一つのホタル名所、塩尻地区に先程、夕べに寄ってみたがそこは今年、もう終わってました。

我が千曲市の森「日本一あんずの里」の収穫が始まりました。今年は早いため、恐らく6月末まで続く。
杏狩りもジャム造り体験も楽しめます。
森地区は亀清旅館・戸倉上山田温泉から車で約20分。
佐良志奈地区の千曲川沿い杏畑は歩いて10分。
なお、亀清の客間「千歳」の庭にも杏の気があります。日本唯一杏狩りができる部屋！
生杏子を味わえるのに、今はチャンス！
6月16日も23日も土曜日の空室がまだ若干ありますので、是非にお越しください。
Our city's famous apricots are now in season, about a week ahead of normal schedule. Mori aka "Apricot Village" is 20 minutes by car from our inn, but there is an apricot orchard along the Chikuma River a short 10 minute walk from us. And even closer -- one of Kamesei's guest rooms has an apricot tree in it's garden (pictured). So this is the only place in all of Japan that you can do apricot picking from your room!
We still have a few vacancies for the last Saturdays of June, so come on up to Nagano and enjoy the tart taste of fresh-picked apricots! (We expect the season to last through the end of June.)

Our famous Mori “Apricot Village” apricot blossoms are so pretty, I came today, too, this time with the family.
Cold, rainy weather is forecast for this weekend so come by the 6th if you can.

我が亀清旅館から車で約8分。
亀清旅館の味噌は全部、高村商店からです。信州は味噌のメッカ、私達は近くにこんな高質な味噌蔵があって、恵まれています。この機会で是非に行ってみて下さい。
Local miso festival 31-March at nearby Takamura Shoten (8 min. by car from Kamesei Ryokan).
Nagano Prefecture is Japan's largest producer of miso, and we are fortunate to have such a high quality maker so close by. The most popular event at the festival is the "Fill the bag with as much miso paste as you can" deal. If you've never been to a miso making factory, now is your chance!
