Memories from the trip Home

Great memories from Home

Whew -- what a trip! I've just got back from my annual trip back to Seattle. It was great seeing the folks, brother and cousins and I got to spend plenty of quality time with them. And the side trip at the end with my parents and our family to the Olympic Peninsula was perfect. I had great memories of that trip from when I was a kid, and am so glad to be able to pass on the memories to our children.

Now it's back to reality as an innkeeper in post-earthquake/ tsunami Japan with the continuing Fukushima nuclear reactors radiation scare and electricity shortages. Our flight in fact had to detour around Fukushima, and the train ride into Tokyo was delayed due to a power outage.

Please wish me luck!
