New cover for the pipes
去年のクリスマスに仮オープンしたヒバの露天風呂の周りはずっと未完成でした。このごろはやっと作業の時間を取れて、ちょっとずつ磨いています。
取り敢えず、周りの竹の目隠しが完成でき、昨日は塀の瓦の取り付け作業し、そして今日は配管のカバーを作りました。
私はその配管をずっと気にしていましたが、今まではお客さんから何も言われなかった。ヒバの露天風呂があまりにも気持ちいい為、お風呂の周りの未完成の分を無視してくれたとの事かな？
これからはサイフォンの周りや残っているペンキを頑張ります。
Our newest outdoor bath, the yellow cedar one outside the ladies bath, was unofficially opened last year on Christmas Day. I've just recently been able to make time to work on finishing the surround. Last week I finished the bamboo screen around the bath, yesterday I worked on attaching the "kawara" tiles on top of the fence, and today I finished the cover for the ugly pipes.
I am surprised guests haven't complained about those pipes at all. I guess the bath feels so good, people have overlooked the pipes and the many other shortcomings around the bath.
Next up is to finish around the siphon pipe, and to touch up the painting.
