Nagano Prefecture's largest newspaper, Shinmai, is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year. They are running a series of articles highlighting the people who have moved to this "Paradise".
Today's edition focuses on northern Nagano, and features a certain American who moved to onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada -- me! It talks about how I became fascinated with the area's mountains, culture and history and ... onsens!
