今年は日本に引越ししてからの4つ目のクリスマスです。毎年、本物のもみの木を探すのに苦労しました。今年はあきらめましたのでプラスチックなツリーを買ってしまいました。遠くから見れば本物に見えますが、なんとなくやはり物足りない。日本に負けました。まあ、取り敢えず、私達家族の集まってきたオーナメントを子供たちと飾りました。そうするともうちょっとツリーっぽくなってきました。色々なオーナメントがあるので12月いっぱいまでは亀清のロビーにありますので気楽で見に来てください。
This is our 4th Christmas season in Japan since moving. Every year, I struggled with trying to acquire a fir tree. This year, I gave up, and bought a plastic one. It actually looks fairly real from a distance, but it just isn't the same. Japan beat me.
Our family has gathered quite a collection of ornaments over the years, and the kids and I decorated the tree. With all the lights and ornaments, it started to look a little more 'real'.
We have lots of special ornaments. The tree will be up in our lobby until the end of December, so feel free to come and see it!
