大田原でおしぼりそば

Slurpin' Soba

今日はせっかく晴れている日で家族でお昼にお出かけしました。千曲市の一番山奥(上?)の大田原でのマレット場のクラブハウスでおそばを食べました。私が「おしぼりそば」を注文しました。久しぶりに鼠大根に汁を食べた。本当に辛いです!すごい刺激です。でも、美味しくて!

Our family took advantage of today's sunny Autumn afternoon and went for a drive to the far side of Chikuma City, up in the hills to an area called Otahara. At the mallet golf course club house, we ate soba for lunch. I had the "oshibori" soba, which uses the juice of a spicy "nezumi" daikon radish for the dipping sauce. It had been a while since the last time I tried this spicy sauce -- it certainly woke up my taste buds! Holy Cow, it was spicy!
