上山田温泉の夏祭りが15，16日に行われました。人数が足りなくて、この来たばかり、右も左も知らない外人が祭典委員になってしまい、｢わっしょい！わっしょい！｣というより、皆のサポートとなりました。迫力ある祭りで是非来年に見に来てください。
Kamiyamada Onsen's Summer Festival was held on the 15th and 16th. I was selected to be a member of the organizing committee, hence the official outfit. The festival has an amazing amount of energy -- come and check it out next year!

町の子供達の為にイースターエッグフェスティバルが行われました。この青い目の番頭が町と提供して計画しまして、無事に成功に終わりました。１２０人が参加して、新しい文化を楽しみました。

Happy Easter! We put on an Easter Egg Festival for the town, together with the Ryokan Assoc. and the town's Int'l Relations Assoc., and had 120 people hunt, decorate, and play games with eggs.
