亀清旅館から歩いて5～6分に、上山田温泉の南側にこんな可愛いアートギャラリーがあります。
版画家の 朴 再英 さんの木版の作品が2階の展示スペースに飾ってあります。１階は朴さんの工房となったいます。世界中に作品を展示なされている芸術家がこの近くに工房とギャラリーがあって、嬉しいです。
朴さんの作品は抽象的なスタイルです。点と点を線でしか繋がれない私にとっては朴さんの芸術は奥深くて、夢のようです。それぞれの絵はストーリーがあるけど、その背景が分からなくても自分の心でどう反射するか見て楽しめます。
ギャラリー・工房の空いている時間は不定期なので事前連絡がお勧めです。
Located approx. 5~6 minutes by walking from Kamesei Ryokan is this quaint little art studio and gallery space.
Wood block print artist Park Jae Young's artwork is displayed on the 2nd floor, and the 1st floor is her studio. Park-san has shown her work in galleries and shows all over the world, so we are really fortunate to have her studio right here in Kamiyamada.
Park-san's artwork is abstract style. For someone like me who can only connect two dots with a simple line, her images are deep and magical, like a dream. Each image has a story behind it, but even without knowing that background, it is still enjoyable to look at each print and see how it reflects in your own heart.
The gallery and studio are only open irregularly so it is best to contact her first before going.
