この千曲市の版画家、森ばくろ、の家・スタジオ・ギャラリーです。杏で有名な森にあります。「杏の里 版画館」です。今日、私が始めていってみましたが、残念ながら休館でした。森さんは芭蕉の俳句の版画が多いので1つな作品が姨捨駅に展示してあります。私が良くお客さんに連れて行きます。
Our town's native-son woodblock print artist, Mori Bakuro, lives and has his studio and gallery in this classical building. I went to see it for the first time, but unfortunately it was closed. Mori-san patterns a lot of his prints after the haiku works of Bassho, and one of the prints is on display at Obasute Station. You can check it out if you take my Night View / Local Legends tour there.
I am interested in purchasing a woodblock print of Mori Bakuro saw at my ryokan in Kiso-Fukushima.
Could you let me know how I may contact Mr. Bakuro to inquire if he still has prints of the woodblock, and, if you, how I might purchase one.
