Kamesei's proprietress, my wife Mari, will turn 40 on the 3rd of October. In celebration, as a surprise, I invited several of her childhood friends, local buddies and her cousin for a banquet at a nearby restaurant. I figured this type of chat-time was one of the best presents I could give her.
