ゴールデンウィークから秋まで土日祭日に戸倉上山田温泉で千曲川のカヤックスクールが行います。大体午前１０時から午後３時まで、２時間コース（初心者向け）３０００円です。私と他の若旦那達が体験しました。本格的です。私だって思い切り繰り返した。川遊びが楽しくて、はまりそうになりました。夏の暑い日に最適！そして、終わったら亀清のお風呂に入って、最高！

Starting with the Golden Week holiday and going through to the Fall, every Saturaday, Sunday and Holiday there will be Kayaking classes here at Togura Kamiyamada Onsen on the Chikuma River. 10am-3pm, 2 hour beginners course for 3000 yen. This is the real thing on a real river. Some of the other innkeepers and I tried it, and I flipped over in the current. Great river fun! And perfect for hot summer days. Especially with being able to soak in our mineral bath afterwards!

どうやってこの夏の暑さから逃げれるか？今日は一つな方法が分かりました：上山田温泉の裏の冠着山でロッククライミングをすること！

うちの長男を連れて、インストラクターの友達と坊子抱の岩（冠着山の指の様な石のでっぱり）で思い切り楽しんだ。景色も最高だったし、涼しかったし、とっても良い思い出になりました。クライミングに興味のある方にご案内、体験の手配は喜んでしますのでご連絡をください。

How can you escape the heat this summer? I found out a great way today: rock climbing at Kamuriki Mountain. Our oldest son and I went today with a friend that's an instructor, and had a blast. The view from the mountain's thumb-like Bokodake-iwa projection was spectacular, and the breeze was nice and cool. If interested in climbing, we'd be happy to set you up.
