ボストン交響楽団のオーボエ奏者の若尾圭介様がご家族と一緒に亀清にお泊りになりました。奥さんのMieさん（私達のシアトルのころからの友人）がピアノを弾いて、若尾さんが隣でオーボエの演奏をしてくれました。亀清のロビーの中で綺麗に響きました。
この秋に若尾さんが仲間を連れてきて、千曲市でコンサートをやりたいと言ってくれました。これからは私の音楽のコネに当たってみます。上手く行くと良いですね。

Boston Symphony Orchestra oboeist Keisuke Wakao came and stayed here at Kamesei Ryokan with his family. His wife, Mie (a good friend of ours from back in Seattle) accompanied him on the piano as he filled our lobby with the beautiful sounds of his oboe.
Keisuke-san mentioned a desire to come back this fall with some of his orchestra friends and do a concert here in Chikuma City. I will try getting in touch with my music 'contacts' here and see what we can arrange.
