こういう田舎に住んでいる男の子たちの夏の楽しみは昆虫です。我が長男のAndy君もはまっています。森から拾ったのこぎりクワガタ、赤足姫クワガタ、八じょうのこぎりクワガタ、小クワガタ、カブトムシ、そして川から拾ったドウジョウと黒ドウジョウ、グッピー、ザリガニなど、亀清の玄関に展示してあります。お客さんが見て喜びます。板長が一部をおかずとして使いたいと言っている。とにかく、人気者です。
Here in the Japanese countryside, one popular pastime for boys is to gather bugs. Our oldest son, Andy, has become quite the bug pro. He has his collection on display at Kamesei's entrance. Kuwagata and Kabuto-mushi scary horned beetles from the woods nearby, and crawfish and other slimy things from the neighborhood creek. Our guests like to stop and see them, and our chef keeps mentioning wanting to serve them for dinner -- they are quite popular!
