The Obasute terraced rice paddies are a 10 minute drive from our inn, Kamesei Ryokan, and our onsen town here of Togura Kamiyamada. The moon reflecting on the individual paddies has been a subject for many haiku and other objects. Click here for a link to info on a woodblock print of Obasute.
