Day hike from Kamesei
The kids and I did a loop hike on Joe Mountain behind our town here of Togura Kamiyamada Onsen. I had Misaki in a special backpack, and the boys and I hoofed it up from Nishi (West) Park up to the overlook, then down through the pine tree woods to Habeshina Shrine, and back to Kamesei. It took a little over an hour, with stopping for sumo wrestling at Habeshina. It's great having such great hiking right in our backyard. You can stay at our inn, soak in the onsen baths, and enjoy hiking Nagano's mountains!
美咲ちゃんを専用なバックパックに載せて、子供達と戸倉上山田温泉の裏の城山にループハイクをしました。西公園から上がって、展望台まで登って、そして松の林と通ってはべしな神社経由で亀清旅館に戻りました。神社でお相撲をやったことを入れてい時間ちょっとかかりました。温泉のすぐ裏にこんなに気持ちいいハイキングコースがあって嬉しいですね。旅館に泊まって、温泉に入って、そしてハイキングも！
